Activities
Our network organizes a variety of activities to connect Korean nuclear researchers in New England. These include seminars, journal clubs, networking events, and collaborative projects. Through these activities, we aim to share knowledge, foster professional growth, and strengthen our community.
2026
The members of Korean Nuclear Researchers in New England participated in 2025 Deep Tech Connect. Through this gathering, we fostered meaningful conversations among researchers in the same field while also creating new connections with scientists from other disciplines and exploring opportunities for future collaboration.
2025
The second seminar was held at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Boston and professor Youho Lee (Seoul National University) gave a seminar on the development and qualification of accident tolerant fuels.
The first seminar was held at MIT PSFC where professor Sung Joong Kim (Hanyang University) gave a seminar on the development and recent trends of small modular reactors (SMRs).
